Vucic thanks Trump for "noticing Serbia"

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic thanked US President Donald Trump on Sunday for "noticing Serbia."

"I am happy that a sports event went well and that we were good hosts. (Ultimate Fighting Championship President) Dana White is a great guy and I hope they will be organising the event in Serbia in the future, too. Thank you to President Trump for noticing Serbia, that is all I can say," Vucic told reporters when asked to comment on Trump's Truth Social post about a UFC Fight Night event held in Belgrade on August 1.

In the post, Trump shared a video showing a banner reading "President Trump, Serbia welcomes you" displayed in the stands at the Belgrade Arena.
