ZUBIN POTOK - A Serb man was arrested by the so-called "Kosovo Police" in the Kosovo-Metohija village of Suvo Grlo, near Srbica, on Monday evening on suspicion of allegedly committing a war crime during the conflict in the province 27 years ago.
The man, identified as Radenko Tomasevic, was placed in 48-hour detention.
Tomasevic was arrested in his home, his attorney Dejan Vasic confirmed to the RTS.
The so-called "Kosovo Police" then took Tomasevic to the southern part of Kosovska Mitrovica, and the Kontakt plus radio station reported he was now due to be transferred to a prison in Lipljan.
Another Suvo Grlo resident - a Serb man identified with the initials D T - was also detained on Monday but was subsequently released.
In March this year, five Serbs - including four members of the Tomasevic family - were arrested in Suvo Grlo on suspicion of alleged war crimes.
One has been released pending trial and the other three remain in detention.
