BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic received San Marino's Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Telecommunications Luca Beccari on Tuesday and thanked him for supporting Serbia's successful bid to host EXPO 2027.
Brnabic welcomed San Marino's participation at EXPO 2027 and said the event was important not only for Serbia but for the entire region, the Serbian government said in a statement.
She noted Serbia's interest in stepping up dialogue with San Marino and said there were great capacities for development of relations between the two states, especially in tourism, economy, culture and education.
Beccari, whose visit to Belgrade comes in a year that marks 20 years of Serbia-San Marino diplomatic ties, said there was potential for all types of cooperation between the two countries and noted that, in the period to come, attention must be devoted to connecting their business communities.
