BRUSSELS - Bilateral meetings in the next round of the EU-facilitated technical-level dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina are due to begin at 9.30 am on Wednesday, Tanjug learns.
Belgrade's delegation, headed by the director of the Serbian government Office for Kosovo-Metohija Petar Petkovic, arrived in Brussels on Tuesday morning.
Whether a trilateral meeting will also be held will depend on the two parties, a source in the EU administration said.
"A trilateral is our objective, but, as always, it depends on the two guests (chief negotiators) whether they will be ready to sit down together," the source said.
In a Twitter post, EU spokesman Peter Stano has announced the EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak would meet with the chief negotiators on Wednesday "in the context of the EU-facilitated Dialogue in Brussels".
The focus will be on "full implementation of the February 27 Agreement & steps towards de-escalation of the situation in the north of Kosovo," he added.
