BANJALUKA - Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik said on Friday in Banjaluka that, under an agreement on special and parallel ties, Republika Srpska and Serbia maintained the best possible relations and that making them even more substantial and carrying out more joint projects was a common goal.
"Making the special ties under the Dayton Agreement even stronger has been a mutual interest of Serbia and Srpska," Dodik said at a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
Dodik noted that, over the course of two days of intensive work, delegations of Republika Srpska and Serbia had analysed all that had been done in the past and also created some new projects.
"Republika Srpska and Serbia have the best possible cooperation, which is not aimed against any third party in BiH, as opposed to what we have heard these days, and even the right to hold discussions and meetings about important things is being disputed," Dodik said, adding that Republika Srpska also had the right to commemorate the suffering of Serbs together with Serbia.
