Body of another person involved in Banjska clashes found, says Pristina's prosecutor

PRISTINA - Pristina's special prosecutor Naim Abazi said the body of another person involved in Sunday's clashes in the Banjska village in the north of Kosovo-Metohija had been found on Monday.

In a statement to Pristina-based Koha paper, Abazi said the body belonged to one of the "attackers" on the so-called Kosovo Police.

The number of people killed after allegedly attacking the police has thus risen to four.

Abazi said the body had been found during a check of a part of the area where the clashes had occurred and that a car also found in the area was being investigated.

Earlier, Pristina's special prosecution office said six people had been detained and charged with several criminal offences after attacking the police in Banjska and that one of the detainees had been charged with terrorism.
