BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met on Thursday with Tino Chrupalla, Alternative for Germany (AfD) whip in the German Bundestag.
The parties agreed the level of Serbia-Germany bilateral ties was high and noted the significance of political dialogue involving all relevant political actors, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.
They said they were pleased with dynamic development of economic cooperation, which has made Germany Serbia's top foreign trade partner in recent years.
They expressed regret over the recent incident in Banjska and agreed that a continuation of Belgrade-Pristina dialogue was of great importance for maintaining peace and stability in the region.
Dacic noted the significance of a reaction by the international community and a soonest possible establishment of a Community of Serb Municipalities.
Chrupalla said de-escalation in Kosovo-Metohija and protection of Serbs and other non-Albanian communities there should be a priority at this time and noted that AfD would continue to advocate that position actively as it differed from the position of the ruling majority in the Bundestag.
They also exchanged views on regional cooperation and current foreign policy affairs, the statement said.
