Arrests underway in Serbian, EU cities over false bomb alerts that targeted Serbian schools

BELGRADE - Arrests are underway in several cities in Serbia and the EU over a string of false bomb alerts that have recently targeted Serbian schools, Tanjug learns.

The arrests are a part of a major international operation by the Serbian Ministry of Interior and the Prosecutor's Office for High-Technology Crime.

In a statement released on Thursday, the ministry announced the extensive operation would be aimed at arresting people linked with the frequent bomb alerts, which have disrupted the work of various educational institutions across Serbia.
