BELGRADE - Based on votes from 1,696 of 1,776 polling stations in Serbia's northern Vojvodina province, the Serbian Progressive Party's Vojvodina Must Not Stop electoral list is in the lead with 47.62 pct, or 438,741 votes won, in Sunday's elections for the provincial assembly.
The provincial electoral commission announced on Monday the turnout in the elections had been 59.24 pct.
According to the partial electoral results, the Serbia Against Violence electoral list is in second place with 21.54 pct (198,469 votes) and is followed by the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians with 6.44 pct (59,339 votes), the Socialist Party of Serbia with 5.11 pct (47,059 votes) and the HOPE Coalition with 5.09 pct (46,860 votes).
All other electoral lists, including those of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, the Serbian Radical Party, the National Gathering coalition and the People's Party, remained below the electoral threshold.
