BRUSSELS - The EU special envoy for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue Miroslav Lajcak said on Sunday the upcoming week in the Swiss city of Davos, which will host the 54th World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting, would be dynamic and that he would have many bilateral meetings during the summit.
Recapping the past week in a Facebook post, Lajcak said that, at a Brussels meeting with ambassadors of EU member states, he had informed them that there had been positive progress in the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue, such as the abolition of the stickers regime for vehicle licence plates, which he noted was "a positive step in implementing the Agreement on the Path to Normalisation."
"Substantial progress was also realised in implementation of the Energy Roadmap," he added.
"As the week draws to a close, I am finalising my preparations for the upcoming dynamic week, during which I will be in Davos participating in the 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum. I will participate in several panel discussions and have numerous bilateral meetings," Lajcak wrote in the post.
EU spokesman Peter Stano told Tanjug on Sunday Lajcak would hold separate meetings with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Pristina's PM Albin Kurti on the sidelines of the WEF summit.
