BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday he was considering launching a probe into illegal arms supplies to Pristina without getting Serbia into a difficult position.
"I am thinking about how to launch a probe into how all those who are arming the so-called Kosovo Security Force and ethnic Albanians contrary to UNSCR 1244 and the UN Charter dare to violate the UN Charter while thinking they will never be held responsible for that," Vucic told reporters in Belgrade in response to a question about last year's clashes in Banjska, Kosovo-Metohija.
Those who are accusing Kosovo-Metohija Serbs of having guns and RPGs do not look at the other side to see what is going on there and what kinds of arms are being supplied to the so-called Kosovo, Vucic said.
He said the "big and powerful" had "political and media servants" in Serbia who did not care what foreign powers, ethnic Albanians and Pristina's PM Albin Kurti were doing against Serbia.
Vucic noted that he was president of Serbia and that his job was to defend the country and protect Serbs in Kosovo-Metohija, and added that he would continue to do so.
