BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on Sunday evening he had proposed that new local elections in Belgrade be held on June 2.
"My idea is as follows: that we have Belgrade elections on June 2, and those elections will be held on June 2 because my friends have agreed to that idea. All other elections will be held in line with constitutional and legal timeframes because no one wants to tender resignations to anyone for anything, which was unanimously declined by everyone in attendance," Vucic said at a press conference.
