Vucic welcomes Bavarian minister-president at Nikola Tesla Airport

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic welcomed Markus Soder, Minister-President of the German state of Bavaria, at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport on Friday.

Soder is on a working visit to Serbia.

In a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account, Vucic wrote that he was greatly honoured to host one of the most influential people in Bavaria and Germany.

"We will discuss major, demanding projects that will give a strong kick-start to Serbia in the years to come, as well as potentials for long-term cooperation with Bavaria, which, in terms of strength and economic progress, represents the main driver of the German economy and an example to developed economies in many areas. We will be proud to present our development plans for Serbia in the period to come, in the confidence that investments and the experience and the enormous knowledge of Markus Soder and his team will play a major part in accomplishing the goals and the vision of our Serbia," Vucic wrote.
