Dacic meets with Armenian deputy FM

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic met with Armenian Deputy FM Paruyr Hovhannisyan in Belgrade on Wednesday.

The parties expressed interest in further development of bilateral relations, based on the traditional friendship and close cultural and historical ties between the two states and peoples, the Serbian MFA said in a statement.

They agreed 2024 was especially important as it was a year in which Serbia and Armenia celebrated 30 years of bilateral diplomatic relations.

The parties also expressed readiness to work together on commemorations of the important anniversary, the statement also said.
