BELGRADE - Serbian Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabic received UK special Western Balkans envoy Stuart Peach on Monday, noting that Belgrade was committed to peaceful resolution of all outstanding issues with Pristina and also expressed readiness for constructive dialogue.
Brnabic informed Peach of a meeting she had hosted to discuss implementation of ODIHR recommendations aimed at advancement of electoral processes and strengthening democracy in Serbia, the parliament said in a statement.
Despite the fact no agreement was reached at the meeting, Brnabic expressed intent to establish dialogue with the opposition during her tenure.
Brnabic said she would also continue to work on advancement of parliamentary cooperation with the UK, focusing on economic cooperation and cooperation in the energy sector, science and technology.
Peach reiterated his support for the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue and noted the significance of continued efforts towards normalisation of relations and lasting peace, which he said was important for the entire region.
