BELGRADE - The chief public prosecutor of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade Nenad Stefanovic and his aides on Tuesday spoke with the father of one of the victims of the November 1 deadly overhang collapse at the Novi Sad railway station.

Djuro Raca, whose daughter Goranka was killed in the tragedy, filed a criminal complaint for terrorism against an unidentified perpetrator as he believes the overhang collapse was an act of terrorism, the Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.

Raca also submitted certain information to substantiate his claim, after which the Prosecutor's Office established a case.

In view of the provisions of the law on the organisation and competence of state authorities in curbing organised crime, terrorism and corruption, the case will be submitted to the Public Prosecutor's Office for Organised Crime - the competent authority for prosecuting criminal offences of terrorism - for further proceedings, the statement said.
