Son, father each receive 20 years in prison in Malo Orasje/Dubona massacre case

BELGRADE - In a final ruling, the Appeals Court in Belgrade on Friday sentenced Uros Blazic to 20 years in prison for killing nine people and wounding 12 others in a shooting spree in the Malo Orasje and Dubona villages near Mladenovac on May 4-5, 2023.

By the same ruling, his father Radisa was given 20 years in prison for the criminal offence of illicit manufacture, carrying and distribution of arms and explosives and a serious crime against general safety.

The second-instance court dismissed appeals by the defendants' attorneys as unfounded and upheld the first-instance ruling.
