Joksimovic signs contract on cooperation between Tanjug, Angola's ANGOP news agency

BELGRADE - Tacno d o o Director General Jovana Joksimovic and Angolan FM Tete Antonio signed on Tuesday in Belgrade a contract on inter-agency cooperation between the Tanjug News Agency and Angola's ANGOP news agency.

The contract was exchanged at the Palace of Serbia, during a ceremony also attended by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Angolan President Joao Manuel Goncalves Lourenco, who is on an official visit to Serbia.

The contract on Tanjug-ANGOP cooperation is one of several major agreements exchanged at the ceremony.

The signing of the contract represents a step forward in establishing cooperation between Tanjug and news agencies around the world.

ANGOP is the first African news agency with which Tanjug has signed such a contract.

Under the contract, the agencies will be exchanging news items and photos on a daily basis.
