Two indicted for plotting Nesovic murder

BELGRADE - The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade has indicted a Swedish national identified as a male with the initials J C G N and a South African national identified as a female with the initials S C G on suspicion of co-perpetration in preparing the murder of Aleksandar Nesovic on January 31.
They are suspected of having taken actions to create the conditions for the immediate commission of the criminal offence of aggravated murder, while J C G N is also suspected of having carried at the time a semi-automatic pistol with one bullet in the chamber and 13 more bullets in a magazine.
In the indictment, submitted to the Higher Court in Belgrade for approval, the two are charged with the criminal offence of aggravated murder under Article 114, Paragraph 2 in conjunction with Paragraph 1, and Article 33 of the Criminal Code (preparatory actions), while J C G N is also charged with the criminal offence of illicit manufacture, carrying and distribution of arms and explosives under Article 348, Paragraph 4 in conjunction with Article 1, of the Criminal Code, the Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.
The Prosecutor's Office also proposed an extension of custody for the accused.
Aleksandar Nesovic was killed in a restaurant in Belgrade's Senjak district on May 13.
Several days later, his body was found in the Indjija municipality, northwestern Serbia.
Eleven people are under investigation in the murder case.
