Stojanovic advances to Australian Open second qualifying round

MELBOURNE - Serbian tennis player Nina Stojanovic is through to the Australian Open second qualifying round after defeating Switzerland's Celine Naef 6-4, 6-3 on Tuesday.

Stojanovic won after an hour and 20 minutes of play.

She will next face American Robin Montgomery, who beat Slovenian Polona Hercog 6-2, 6-1.
