Lajovic through to Buenos Aires quarters

BUENOS AIRES - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic defeated Argentine Camilo Ugo Carabelli 6-3, 6-1 last night to advance to the quarter-finals of the Buenos Aires ATP 250 tournament.

Lajovic will next face Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who beat Serbia's Laslo Djere 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.

The Lajovic vs Alcaraz tie is scheduled for Friday.

The prize money at the tournament is 626,595 dollars.
