Djokovic to play at Geneva ATP tournament

GENEVA - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic will compete at the Geneva ATP tournament, Swiss media outlets reported on Friday.

Djokovic has accepted a wild card offered by the tournament organisers, the reports said.

The Serbian lost to Czech Tomas Machac in the Geneva semi-finals last season.

He has skipped the Rome Masters after suffering early exits from the Monte Carlo and Madrid tournaments.

The May 18-24 Geneva ATP tournament will be another opportunity for Djokovic to win a 100th career title.

The prize money at the event is 596,035 euros.
