Djere through to Rome Masters third round, to face Alcaraz

ROME - Serbian tennis player Laslo Djere is through to the third round of the Rome Masters ATP tournament after a 6-0, 6-3 win over American Alex Michelsen in the second round on Friday.

Djere, who won after 72 minutes of play, will next face Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz, who defeated Serbian Dusan Lajovic 6-3, 6-3 earlier in the afternoon.

At the WTA tournament in Rome, Serbian Olga Danilovic suffered a 6-1, 6-4 defeat to Chinese Qinwen Zheng in the second round.
