GENEVA - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic has failed to qualify for the second round of the Geneva ATP tournament after a 6-4, 6-1 defeat to Briton Jacob Fearnley in the opening round on Monday.
Fearnley, who won after 72 minutes of play, will next face Australian Alexey Popyrin.
After receiving a first-round bye in Geneva, Serbian Novak Djokovic will take on the winner of the tie between Belgian Zizou Bergs and Hungarian Marton Fucsovics in the second round.
Djokovic's compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic will play Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech in the opening round.
The prize money at the Geneva tournament is 596,035 euros.
