Krunic, Danilina through to Roland Garros women's doubles semis

PARIS - The Serbian-Kazakh pair of Aleksandra Krunic and Anna Danilina is through to the semi-finals of the Roland Garros women's doubles tournament after a 7-5, 6-4, 6-2 win over the Czech-US duo of Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend in the quarter-finals on Wednesday.

Krunic and Danilina defeated the tournament's top seeds in two hours and 30 minutes of play.

They will next face the Norwegian-Japanese pairing of Ulrikke Eikeri and Eri Hozumi.
