Lajovic through to Wimbledon second qualifying round

LONDON - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic is through to the second qualifying round at Wimbledon after a 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 victory over world number 150 Liam Draxl of Canada in the first qualifying round on Monday.

Lajovic, who is 118th in the ATP rankings, won after an hour and 58 minutes of play.

He will next face Frenchman Arthur Bouquier, who defeated Briton Alastair Gray 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 in the first qualifying round.

The Wimbledon Grand Slam tournament will be held from June 30 to July 13.
