Medjedovic through to Mallorca quarter-finals

MALLORCA - Serbian tennis player Hamad Medjedovic is through to the quarter-finals of the Mallorca ATP tournament after a 6-4, 3-6, 7-6 (7-4) victory over Russian Roman Safiullin on Tuesday.

Medjedovic, who won after two hours and 28 minutes of play, will next face the winner of the tie between Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime and Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech.

The prize money at the tournament is 596,035 euros.
