Danilovic through to Wimbledon second round

LONDON - Serbian tennis player Olga Danilovic is through to the second round at Wimbledon after defeating world number 124 Shuai Zhang of China 6-2, 6-4 in the opening round on Monday.

Danilovic, who is 37th in the WTA rankings, won after an hour and 24 minutes of play, clinching her first-ever victory at Wimbledon.

She will next face the winner of the tie between American Madison Keys and Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse.
