Djokovic through to Wimbledon second round

LONDON - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the second round at Wimbledon after beating Frenchman Alexandre Muller 6-1, 6-7 (7-9), 6-2, 6-2 in the opening round on Monday.

Sixth seed Djokovic, who requested a medical timeout at the beginning of the second set due to breathing problems, won after three hours and 21 minutes of play.

In Thursday's second round, Djokovic will face Briton Daniel Evans, who defeated compatriot Jay Clarke in the first round.
