Serbia beat Romania at water polo world championship

SINGAPORE - The Serbia men's national water polo team defeated Romania 19-9 in a Group A, Round 3 match at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore on Wednesday, securing the second place in the group table behind Italy.
Sava Randjelovic led the scoring for Serbia with four goals. Djordje Lazic and Nikola Jaksic followed with three goals each and Nikola Murisic, Milos Cuk and Dusan Mandic all scored two.
Serbia will next face Japan in the quarter-final play-offs.
If they win, they will take on Group C winners USA in the quarter-finals.
