Djokovic beats Struff to advance to US Open quarter-finals

NEW YORK - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the US Open quarter-finals after a 6-3, 6-3, 6-2 win over German Jan-Lennard Struff in the fourth round on Sunday evening.

Djokovic, who won after less than two hours of play, has secured his 43rd career Grand Slam quarter-final berth.

He will next face American Taylor Fritz, who defeated Czech Tomas Machac 6-4, 6-3, 6-3.
