Veljko Milosavljevic joins AFC Bornemouth from Red Star Belgrade

BELGRADE - Young Serbian defender Veljko Milosavljevic has joined English Premier League side AFC Bornemouth from Red Star Belgrade for 15 mln euros and a 10 pct sell-on bonus, a record transfer fee for the Serbian football champions.

The Belgrade club announced the transfer on Monday in a social media post, wishing Milosavljevic, a product of its youth system, luck in his future career.

Confirming the transfer, Bornemouth said Milosavljevic had signed a five-year contract.
