Serbian high jumper Topic wins world bronze in Tokyo

TOKYO - Serbian high jumper Angelina Topic won the bronze medal at the 2025 World Athletics Championship in Tokyo on Sunday.

With a 1.97 m jump in the final, Topic finished tied in third place with Ukrainian Yaroslava Mahuchikh, behind gold medalist Nikola Olislagers of Australia (2.00 m, first attempt) and silver medalist Maria Zodzik of Poland (2.00 m, third attempt).
