Red Star Belgrade lose to Porto away in UEFA Europa League

PORTO - Serbian football champions Red Star Belgrade lost 2-1 to Porto away in a UEFA Europa League Match Day 2 encounter on Thursday evening.
In front of 42,812 spectators at the Estadio do Dragao stadium, the hosts took the lead through a William Gomes spot kick in the eight minute after a Tebo Uchenna foul in the Red Star penalty box.
Seventeen-year-old Vasilije Kostov equalised in the 33rd minute with an outstanding goal, but Rodrigo Mora scored in the 89th minute to make it 2-1 to the Portuguese giants.
Red Star will face another Portuguese outfit, Braga, in the next round on October 23.
