Djokovic defeats Hanfmann to advance to Shanghai Masters fourth round

SHANGHAI - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the Shanghai Masters fourth round after a 4-6, 7-5, 6-3 victory over German Yannick Hanfmann in the third round on Sunday.

World number five Djokovic, who won after two hours and 43 minutes of play, is now 2-0 head-to-head against Hanfmann, who ranks 150th in the ATP rankings.

Djokovic will next face Spaniard Jaume Munar, who beat Japanese Yoshikito Nishioka in the third round.

The prize money at the Shanghai Masters is 9,196,000 dollars.
