STARA PAZOVA - The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) announced on Friday the contract of the now-former heath coach of the men's national team, Dragan Stojkovic, had been terminated by mutual consent and that discussions with potential candidates for the post would be held in the coming days.

In a statement, it said the contracts of Stojkovic's coaching staff and the director of the senior national team, Stevan Stojanovic, had been terminated by mutual consent as well.

It also said FSS Executive Board members had authorised the Association's President Dragan Dzajic and Secretary General Branko Radujko to hold discussions with potential candidates to succeed Stojkovic.

"Within the shortest possible time, the FSS will inform the public of who will be leading the national team in the November World Cup qualifying matches against England in London and Latvia in Leskovac," the FSS said, thanking Stojkovic for his accomplishments during his four-and-a-half-year tenure and wishing him success in his future professional challenges.

Stojkovic offered his resignation after last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Albania in Leskovac.
