Serbia candidate to host 2028 UEFA Europa League final at National Stadium in Belgrade

NYON - European football's governing body UEFA announced on Friday the Football Association of Serbia had submitted a declaration of interest to host the 2028 Europa League final at the National Stadium in Belgrade.

The other interested bidders are France (Lyon-Decines, Parc Olympique Lyonnais or Paris, Parc des Princes), Italy (Turin, Juventus Stadium) and Romania (Bucharest, National Arena).

A decision on the host city and venue is due in September 2026, UEFA said on its website.

The declarations of interest are not binding, and the final proposals must be delivered with the bid dossiers by June 10 2026, it said.
