Djokovic through to Athens quarter-finals

ATHENS - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the quarter-finals of the Athens ATP 250 tournament after a 7-6 (7-3), 6-1 victory over Chilean Alejandro Tabilo on Tuesday evening.

It was his first-ever win against Tabilo.

Djokovic, who won after an hour and 41 minutes of play, is now 1-2 head-to-head against the Chilean.

The Serbian will next face Portuguese Nuno Borges.

The prize money at the Athens tournament is 766,715 euros.
