Krunic, Danilina defeated in Brisbane doubles semi-finals

BRISBANE - The Serbian-Kazakh duo of Aleksandra Krunic and Anna Danilina has failed to qualify for the women's doubles final at the Brisbane WTA tennis tournament after losing 6-3, 4-6, 10-7 to the Australian-Spanish pairing of Ellen Perez and Cristina Bucsa in the semi-finals after an hour and 25 minutes of play.

In the final, Perez and Bucsa will face the winners of the tie between Lyudmila Kichenok/Nadiia Kichenok and Jelena Ostapenko/Su-Wei Hsieh.

The prize money at the Brisbane tournament is 1,691,602 dollars.
