Djokovic could face Sinner in Australian Open semi-finals

MELBOURNE - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic could face Italian Jannik Sinner in the semi-finals of 2026 Australian Open, with Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz and German Alexander Zverev as the potential semi-finalists from the other half of the draw.

Djokovic has been drawn to play Spaniard Pedro Martinez in the opening round on Sunday.

The Serbian has a record ten Aussie Open titles, and the defending champion is Sinner, who won the tournament in 2024 and 2025.

This year's Australian Open will be held from January 18 to February 1.
