Krunic/Danilina lose in Adelaide doubles semi-finals

ADELAIDE - The Serbian-Kazakh pair of Aleksandra Krunic and Anna Danilina has failed to qualify for the doubles final of the Adelaide WTA tennis tournament after losing 6-4, 2-6, 10-8 to the Czech-Chinese pair of Katerina Siniakova and Shuai Zhang in the semi-finals on Thursday.

Siniakova and Zhang, who won after an hour and 22 minutes of play, will face the Ukrainian-US duo of Lyudmyla Kichenok and Desirae Krawczyk in the final.

The prize money at the Adelaide WTA tournament is 1,206,446 dollars.
