Djokovic through to Australian Open final

MELBOURNE - Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is through to the Australian Open final after a 3-6, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory over defending champion Jannik Sinner of Italy in the semi-finals on Friday.

Djokovic, who won after four hours and 11 minutes of play, will face Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz in Sunday's final in a bid to clinch his 11th career Aussie Open title and his 25th Grand Slam trophy.

Earlier, Alcaraz defeated German Alexander Zverev 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) after five hours and 26 minutes of play in the longest semi-final match in the tournament's history.
