Krunic defeated in Doha qualifiers

DOHA - Serbian tennis player Aleksandra Krunic has been knocked out of the qualifiers for the Doha WTA tournament by losing 6-3, 6-4 to Australian Storm Hunter on Friday.

World number 250 Hunter defeated Krunic, who ranks 470th in the WTA rankings, after just 67 minutes of play.

In the Doha qualifiers, the Serbian had stepped in for injured American Hailey Baptiste.
