Djokovic withdraws from Doha ATP tournament

DOHA - Serbia's top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic will not be competing at the Doha ATP tournament in Qatar, the organisers announced on Wednesday.

“Novak Djokovic is pulling out from Doha due to strong fatigue,” the Qatar Open said in a statement published on social media networks.

The prize money at the ATP 500 tournament is 2,833,335 dollars.

The February 16-21 event will feature Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, Felix Auger-Aliassime and Andrey Rublev, among others.

Djokovic won the Doha tournament in 2016 and 2017.
