Partizan win season's second EuroLeague derby against Red Star

BELGRADE - Partizan Belgrade defeated arch-rivals Red Star Belgrade 89-82 in the 35th round of the basketball EuroLeague on Thursday evening.

It was Partizan's second win against Red Star in the EuroLeague this season.

After two consecutive defeats, Red Star have 19 wins and 16 losses in the competition, with a direct play-off berth looking increasingly unlikely.

Partizan, who are on a six-game winning streak in the EuroLeague, are at 15-20.

Carlik Jones led Partizan to victory with 26 points, Sterling Brown scored 22 points and Bruno Fernando and Isaac Bonga added 15 and 12 points, respectively.

Codi Miller-McIntyre stood out for Red Star with 24 points and nine assists, Jaciel Rivero scored 13 points and Jordan Nwora added 12.

Red Star next face Paris at home, while Partizan play Efes on the road.
