Defeat to Barcelona ends Red Star's EuroLeague campaign

BARCELONA - Red Star Belgrade have failed to qualify for the final of the basketball EuroLeague play-in by losing 80-72 (29-21, 18-12, 16-18, 17-21) to Barcelona on the road on Tuesday evening.

The defeat ended Red Star's campaign in European basketball's top-tier competition this season.

Codi Miller-McIntyre led the scoring for Red Star with 19 points, while Kevin Punter and Will Clyburn stood out for Barcelona with 22 points each.

In a bid to reach the play-offs quarter-finals, Barcelona will play Monaco on Friday.
