Kecmanovic suffers early exit from Madrid Masters

MADRID - Serbian tennis player Miomir Kecmanovic has failed to qualify for the second round of the Madrid Masters after a 6-4, 7-5 defeat to Frenchman Terence Atmane in the opening round on Thursday.

Atmane, who won after 75 minutes of play, is now 1-1 head-to-head against the Serbian.

The prize money at the Madrid Masters is 8,235,540 euros.
