Lajovic loses to Rinderknech in Madrid Masters second round

MADRID - Serbian tennis player Dusan Lajovic has failed to qualify for the third round of the Madrid Masters tournament after a 6-3, 6-2 second-round defeat to Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech on Friday.

Rinderknech, who won after 73 minutes of play, will next face the winner of the tie between Russian Andrey Rublev and Czech Vit Kopriva.

The prize money at the Madrid Masters is 8,235,540 euros.
