Djokovic almost certain to play Rome Masters

ROME - Serbia's top-ranked tennis player Novak Djokovic will be playing at the Rome Masters tournament, tennis internet portals have reported.

According to the tournament's website, Djokovic has scheduled a training session with Peruvian Ignacio Buse for Monday 6 pm, which suggests that the Serbian will be competing in Rome.

Djokovic played his last competitive match in Indian Wells two months ago, after which he took a break.

He has won the Rome Masters six times in his career, most recently in 2022.

This season's edition of the tournament will be played from May 6 through 17 at the Foro Italico.
