Dubai takes 1-0 lead in ABA basketball league final against Partizan Belgrade

DUBAI - UAE basketball club Dubai beat Partizan Belgrade 99-93 at home on Thursday evening to take a 1-0 lead in the playoff final series of the ABA basketball league.

Dzanan Musa led the scoring for Dubai with 22 points and McKinley Wright and Mfiondu Kabengele each added 19 points.

Carlick Jones stood out for Partizan with 21 points, Sterling Brown scored 20 points and Duane Washington added 18.

The second game of the best-of-five series will take place in Dubai on Saturday.
